Before the 1st German Cultural Days of the Inhabited 1993 in Hamburg, the Deutsche Inhabitants-Bund e.V. the "Community of Interest for the Advancement of Cultural Hearing" (IFKG). The IFKG will be renamed "Culture and History Hearing Loss" (KuGG) for five years. The KuGG and the "Deaf History - History Hearing Interest Group" (active since 1996) joined in 2001.
