Meredith Peruzzi is a deaf museum professional and accessibility activist.
Her journey began as a young volunteer docent in the Baltimore City Life Museums, and progressed to a decade-long role as the director of the National Deaf Life Museum at Gallaudet University, located in Washington DC.
Today, she provides museology consulting services within the deaf community, and accessibility consulting within the museum community.

I work as an accessibility consultant for museums and cultural institutions. I also have 10 years of experience as a museum director and curator, and my doctoral research focuses on how museums can develop exhibitions and programming that make Deaf people feel truly welcome in the space.
