Historypin

HISTORYPIN is a map-based website that allows "people to come together, from across different generations, cultures and places, to share small glimpses of the past and to build up the huge story of human history."

Historypin is free and can be used to:

• create a collection or tour using your own and other people’s pins
• invite others to help you manage your collection
• add your own pins (photos, videos and sound clips)
• create a tour using your own and other people’s pins
• comment on, favourite and share pins.
