Deaf Heritage Centre – DHC was set up in 1999 by a group of past pupils of St Joseph’s from the School for Deaf Boys.

Our aims are to collate, maintain and protect artifacts, materials and records of the Deaf community, going back over 200 years.

The DHC seeks to promote the history of the Deaf Community in Ireland and to encourage the Deaf Community to take pride in their history.
